I am an associate professor in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) at IMT Atlantique.
My research interests are in
cognitive robotics,
ambient systems
and
automated functional design.
More specifically, I develop systems for improving the quality-of-life of humans in their habitats.
These systems include sensors, automated reasoning abilities, and actuators such as intelligent robots.
I was previously a postdoc at Inria Nancy, at the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR) in Lisbon, and at the Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics (ISIR) in Paris. Prior to that I was as a doctoral researcher in ambient intelligence at Inria in Nancy. I also spent some time in the industry, working for PSA Peugeot Citroën and Dassault Systèmes.
I defended my Ph.D. thesis in artificial intelligence in 2015 at the University of Lorraine. I obtained my M.Sc. degree in software and data engineering in 2012, and my Licence (B.Sc.) degree in computer science in 2010, both from the University of Strasbourg, France.
